Behavioral Decision Intelligence Whitepaper

The technical framework behind EI ALGOS — how the platform reads self-directed trader behaviour, scores every decision, and coaches the review. Download the full PDF, or read the summary below.

Executive Summary

Self-directed traders lose more equity to their own behaviour than to poor setups. EI ALGOS is a decision-support platform that makes that behaviour measurable. This whitepaper documents the framework — Behavioral Decision Intelligence — and the four proprietary surfaces built on top of it: the Decision Score, the Emotion Score, the Trader Intelligence Score, and LIANA, the platform’s AI coach.

What Is Behavioral Decision Intelligence?

Behavioral Decision Intelligence (BDI) is the discipline of combining behavioral finance (how humans systematically deviate from rational decision-making) with decision intelligence (the engineering practice of instrumenting decisions so they can be reviewed, scored, and improved). Applied to trading, BDI turns “discipline” and “psychology” from vague concepts into measurable, per-trade signals. Read the full pillar at /behavioral-intelligence.

Decision Intelligence

The layer that reads a trader’s intent, context and history and produces a structured, per-trade evaluation. EI ALGOS treats every trade as a decision with six inputs — thesis, structure, risk, timing, behavioural context, and post-trade review. See /decision-intelligence.

Decision Score

A six-factor pre-trade score, computed before the order is placed. It is not a recommendation to buy or sell — it is a read on whether the decision, as the trader has articulated it, aligns with their own process. Details: /decision-score.

Emotion Score

A short-window (rolling) behavioural read on the emotional state showing up in recent trades — chasing, revenge trading, over-sizing, plan drift. Details: /emotion-score.

Trader Intelligence Score (TIS)

A long-window read on how the trader has evolved — consistency, discipline, decision quality, plan adherence. TIS is not IQ; it is behaviour over time. Details: /trader-intelligence-score.

LIANA

LIANA is the AI coach inside EI ALGOS. She reads the user’s trades, scores, and behaviour, and answers questions with evidence from the user’s own history — not with market advice. Details: /liana.

Methodology

The engine ingests each trade as a canonical record, computes its scores, indexes it against the trader’s history, and updates the behavioural archetype (Trader Profile). LIANA runs on a retrieval-augmented stack constrained to the trader’s own data — no market prediction, no signal generation.

Research Framework

EI ALGOS research is organised around the three canonical questions: Is the decision aligned with the trader’s own plan?, Is the behaviour drifting?, and Is the trader improving over time? See /research/behavioral-decision-intelligence.

Limitations

EI ALGOS is an educational decision-support platform. It does not predict market direction, it does not tell users what to buy or sell, and its scores are computed from behavioural inputs rather than from claims about future market outcomes. Every score is a read on process quality, not a forecast.

Compliance Framework

EI ALGOS INC is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or portfolio manager. The platform does not provide personalised investment advice. Every score, coaching message, and analytical output is scoped to educational decision support for self-directed traders. See /regulatory-disclosure and /legal.
