Long-window intelligence

Trader Intelligence Score — the climate, not just the weather.

Emotion Score reads this week. TIS reads this quarter. A single long-window number for how you have evolved as a trader — consistency, discipline, decision quality, plan adherence.

What it is

A read on the trader — measured in weeks and months, not seconds.

TIS is not IQ. It is a read on process, not intellect.

Most traders can point to their best week and their worst week. Very few can point to their trajectory — whether the average of their last hundred decisions is getting better, worse, or drifting sideways. TIS makes that trajectory visible.

It is a rolling read on consistency, plan adherence, decision quality, and discipline drift. It is private to you. It never compares you to another trader. It only compares you to the trader you were last month.

Six dimensions

TIS is not a single number. It rolls up from six behavioural dimensions.

Consistency

How reliably you show up with the same process — same criteria, same sizing, same review discipline.

Plan adherence

How often what you actually do matches what you said you would do. Intent vs execution, over time.

Decision quality

The average Decision Score of the trades you took, and how it has trended over the last N weeks.

Discipline drift

Whether your behaviour is drifting toward or away from the process you set for yourself.

Learning velocity

How quickly you course-correct after a bad decision — do you repeat the same mistake, or adjust?

Range of behaviour

How wide the swings are between your best-behaved and worst-behaved trading sessions.

Why it matters

Process is a lever. Luck is not.

Two traders with identical setups can end up in very different places because one traded them consistently and the other did not.

Improving TIS is the fastest lever most self-directed traders never pull, because most self-directed traders have never had a way to measure it. A brokerage account shows you P&L. It does not show you whether you are getting better at deciding.

TIS closes that gap — quietly, in the background — so the next quarter you trade is the quarter you traded better, not just longer.

What it is not

Not a ranking. Not a rating. Not investment advice.

  • · Not a leaderboard or comparison against other traders
  • · Not a predictor of future returns
  • · Not a measurement of intelligence — TIS reads process, not IQ
  • · Not a substitute for a financial adviser
  • · Not visible to anyone but you

FAQ

Common questions about TIS.

What is the Trader Intelligence Score?

A long-window read on how you have evolved as a trader — consistency, discipline, decision quality, plan adherence.

How is it different from Emotion Score?

Emotion Score is short-window (right now). TIS is long-window (how you have evolved). Weather vs climate.

Is TIS a performance ranking?

No. It is not a leaderboard, not a comparison against other traders, and not a return predictor. It is a private read on your own trajectory.

Does a higher TIS mean I will make more money?

No. Higher TIS reflects better process. Better process improves your odds — it does not guarantee outcomes.

Can I improve my TIS?

Yes, and that is the point. The score changes with your behaviour. Improving how you decide is the fastest lever most traders never pull.
