Performance Analysis
Traditional performance analysis stops at win rate, expectancy, and Sharpe. Behavioural performance analysis adds a second dimension: decision quality, discipline drift, and emotional pattern. This page maps the KPIs and where EI ALGOS's TIS plus Decision Score fit.
Two dimensions
Statistical KPIs — win rate, expectancy, profit factor, Sharpe — describe what happened. Behavioural KPIs — decision quality, plan adherence, drift, emotion — describe why. A trader who only tracks the first dimension gets a lagging report every month with no lever to pull.
The behavioural KPI set
1) Average Decision Score — how good the decisions are, per trade. 2) Plan adherence — % of trades inside the plan. 3) Emotion Score volatility — how much your state drifts week to week. 4) Trader Intelligence Score — the composite consistency read across months. Together they front-run the P&L report.

FAQ
The measurement of a trader's results across statistical KPIs (win rate, expectancy, Sharpe) and behavioural KPIs (decision quality, plan adherence, drift). Behavioural KPIs are leading; statistical KPIs are lagging.
It depends on the strategy and the timescale. For most retail traders, plan adherence and average Decision Score are the highest-signal KPIs because they front-run the P&L numbers.
A journal is the raw log. Performance analysis is what you read out of the log. EI ALGOS automates the read via Decision Score and TIS.
