AI Trading Tools
AI trading tools come in four flavours. Only one of them helps you review your own decisions. This page maps the category, tells you what each one actually does, and shows where EI ALGOS fits — as a decision-support layer, not a signal machine.
The category
The label "AI trading tool" is used for everything from chart-pattern classifiers to autonomous bots. That vagueness is why most retail traders pay for the wrong one.
The four categories: predictive AI (forecasts price or direction), execution AI (places trades), journaling AI (turns your log into text), and decision-support AI (reads your decisions and coaches the review). Only decision-support AI improves the *trader* rather than the market model.
The first two categories carry the highest compliance risk and the loudest marketing. The last two are quieter — and, for most retail traders, more useful.
Where EI ALGOS sits
EI ALGOS reads your trade log, scores every decision on a six-factor framework (Decision Score), tracks how your behaviour drifts across days (Emotion Score) and months (Trader Intelligence Score), and lets you interrogate the whole picture with an AI coach (LIANA).
It does not tell you when to enter or exit. It tells you how the decision you just made compares to the process you set for yourself.
How to evaluate one
1) Does it claim to predict prices? If yes, ask for the out-of-sample validation. If they cannot show it, walk away.
2) Does it read your data or just show you charts? A tool that never touches your log cannot coach the review.
3) Does it cite its outputs to something you can inspect? Or is it a black-box confidence score?
4) Does it mention risk / limitations anywhere? Silence on downside is a compliance red flag.
5) Would it still be useful if it made zero predictions? If yes, it is doing decision-support work — the durable category.

FAQ
A software product that applies machine learning or LLMs to some part of the trading workflow — prediction, execution, journaling, or decision review. "AI trading tool" is a category, not a product type.
Some try to; most that claim to cannot show out-of-sample evidence. EI ALGOS does not predict prices, generate trade signals, or execute trades.
Not on its own. But an AI layer that reads your recent behaviour can surface the pattern before the next click and coach the pause. That is what Emotion Score plus LIANA is designed to do.
No. EI ALGOS is a Behavioural Decision Intelligence platform. It scores decisions you already made and helps you review them — it never issues buy or sell instructions.
It depends on the category. Decision-support and journaling AI are low-risk because they never touch the market. Predictive and autonomous execution AI carry the same risk profile as any active trading strategy.
